A failed timing belt can wreck an interference engine in an instant. This Drivetek kit includes every wearing part of the timing drive, so you replace them all together and avoid having to strip the engine down again.
The belt is made from heat-resistant HNBR rubber, reinforced with glass-fibre tension cords and faced with a PTFE-coated fabric for quiet running. The automatic tensioner and idler run on sealed, pre-greased bearings, and the water pump has a cast impeller and a silicon-carbide mechanical seal.

- Recommended replacement: every 210,000 km or 10 years, whichever comes first
